Mahisha Dellinger, founder and CEO of CURLS LLC, is revolutionizing the way women care for their curls. With a successful hair care company under her belt, Mahisha had been referred to as a “modern-day Madame C.J. Walker.” As a multi-ethnic, naturally curly woman, Ms. Dellinger was no stranger to the frustration of searching for a product line that could properly care for her unique curls. Products were either too heavy, too greasy or too light to offer the control she needed to define her curls and leave her tresses looking bouncy and full of life. www.curls.biz Mahisha Dellinger Bio After years of mixing various products to create the perfect balance for her hair, Mahisha decided to take matters into her own hands. Noting the growth of the multi-ethnic population, Mahisha realized that there was an under-served market of women who were desperate to discover viable solutions to address their hair care needs. Ms. Dellinger enlisted the help of an expert chemist and worked tirelessly to formulate CURLS , the first comprehensive line of hair care products designed specifically for multi-ethnic hair. Since its launch in 2002, CURLS has developed a cult-like following among celebrities such as Halle Berry, Ashanti and Zoe Saldana. Mahisha is a native of Sacramento California and attended California State University. Upon graduating, Ms. Dellinger joined Intel Corporation and worked as a marketing manager for several years before leaving the corporation to start CURLS. Mahisha is a fitness expert, wife and mother of three beautiful children. In her free time she works with adoption agencies across the country, donating product and teaching multi-ethnic hair care to parents who adopt across racial lines.
